Ball/Hrudey? If so they are preferable to Cuthbert/McGuire.

Bruins have arguably the best line in hockey. Need to contain them and we have a decent shot at winning this game. Tough test for sure. Go Flames!

If Peters puts Backlund versus Bergeron I really want Tkachuk on that line, to see him on the ice with Marchand. Maybe add Neal for extra dickishness (Frolik if you want a vet, Lindholm if you need the speed/defence).

Loved that last game. Obviously sometimes the bounces don’t go your way, sometimes the other team wins battles, but I love how this rendition seems to have the jam to fight back, and put in a more or less solid 60 minutes.
Looking forward to: More Super Bennett, Smith having a solid outing, Tkachuk out Marchand-ing Marchand.
Reminders: If we get scored on early the sky isn’t falling. Brodie is a human who sometimes makes mistakes, but has earned the opportunity to try and make up for them.
Go Flames Go

Use Frolik...maybe Pastrnak will get distracted by his fellow countryman speaking Czech to him all night.

Hopefully get the lead early and play with it. Watching the 3M line shut down their big line will be fun.

The guy I work with and spend about 12 hours a day with as a two man team is a Bruins fan. Huge bragging rights on the line.

After a 7-0 loss to the Capitals on Wednesday Night Hockey to open the season, the Bruins have rattled off our straight wins and outscored their opponents 22-6 in that span, including an 8-2 defeat of the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. David Krejci notched his 400th career assist in the victory and David Pastrnak recorded his second-career regular-season hat trick. Patrice Bergeron is tied for fourth in the NHL with 11 points (5g/6a) in five games this season.
Calgary rallied past Colorado in overtime on Saturday, as Johnny Gaudreau scored the game-winner less than a minute into extra time to lift the Flames past the Avalanche, 3-2.
Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta.

Hopefully the Flames put on a good showing on US National TV. Last regular season game with the Chicago 5 goal comeback if I'm not mistaken. They're due!

30 points combined in 5 games. Hard to argue against it. Maybe the Stars?

Bruins seem to be a tough match for the Flames. Smith will have to be sharp for them to keep this one close.

It's such a top heavy team:
6.125M-6.875M-6.666M
1M- 7.25M-0.863M
0.9M- 6M-0.925M
1.25M-1.27M-0.725M
5M-0.916M
1.4M-2.5M
2.75M-0.789M
7M
2.75M
There top line, other top 9 centers, starting goalie and their number 1 (if you still count it as Chara), just 7 players, make up 60% of their cap space.
