Should you be starting more projects before your garage is finished? Why don't you want your wife to park inside?!

It' actually been very usable the whole time, I just move vehicles out for work, so that was nice. Not having to brush snow and scrape windows was great. The roller scaffolding has been a godsend.

I'm stalled out on my garage/shop as well. I have to wait until we sell our house before I can continue.

How does that work? Sell your house but you're going to keep your garage?

Dont you think that would put off potential buyers that the former owner lives in their garage?

That would be weird...

Booo, that sucks. My one goal was to not stop until it was done, and not half move in, so that it never got done. I took lots of breaks as I obviously haven't been working non-stop. But I didn't want a half done garage.

My house is on a different property than the garage is on.

I'll finish it as soon as I sell my house. It's empty now and I refuse to use it until it's finished (just needs to be insulated and drywalled and heating installed). It's not like I'm using it for anything right now - it's located on another property about 14 km from my house.

Ha! I told myself (and the wife) the exact same thing....back in November! Took me longer than I though for those "justs".

Need a drywall lift? My dad is going to use it for his garage sometime in the next couple months, but I'll be selling it after that.

I'll probably just rent one - I only need it for a couple of days or so. Once I sell my house, then I'll have to hustle to finish off the garage/shop so I can move all my stuff into it until I get a house built on the site.

That's what I thought....

Granted, I was only working on weekends when I had time, so it was nice not to be rushed by a rental return. My ceiling was also a bit of a PITA with the angled corners to cut, landing on trusses etc...They sure are nice though, I was able to do the entire job by myself with it. Didn't even hurt myself!

I'm retired now, so I have all the time in the world to work on the garage. The only thing is, at my age now, I am pretty well exhausted after about 6 or 7 hours per day working on it.

I might know a guy or 2...not sure if they are taking side jobs like that right now. Send me some pics and I'll pass them along to see if they are interested, they helped me with my garage.

Just finished spraying the primer coat, this paint sprayer is great, though I'm not convinced my abilities to lay down an even coat are living up to the machine. Time to go see if I can do better on the first paint coat on the ceiling...

Haha! You suck. You are slow and bad at painting.

Wait, I am not Hockeyguy15...

I think you are doing great and I really appreciate your updates.

Finished painting today, made a bit of a mess between ceiling and walls, so had to brush it after, but for the most part the sprayer was a huge time saver. Forgot to get a picture, will post one tomorrow.
