There's hardly be all end all support for manuals on the forums. Most dudebros think they are one 40 roll away from F1 and want every advantage to combat their lack of shifting skill.

Can anyone reccomend an Audi Tuning shop in Calgary? I'm considering some performance modifications to the Allroad.

I think I have mentioned this before and complained about it but I can't stand this new trend of having turn signal lights integrated into the rear bumper instead of the rear tail lights.

This started back in 2007 or 2008 with the Infiniti EX and in the past few years Hyundai/Kia has adapted it into many of their vehicles. It was mostly just CUVs/SUVs but yesterday I saw a new Kia Forte and it had the turn signal light down low in the bumper. The government should really mandate that these lights be up higher, with the tail lights, which is a more natural line of sight.

It's worse than that the brake/turn has become one section of the tail light in many designs, red for both.

Blame sport cute people. There's a giant chunk of people (chicks) that look at a wagon and then look at a Nissan Rogue, and then decide the Rogue is cooler? It's fataing befuddling.

So.... thanks to Ontario I invested in a undercoating oil spray. I think it stained my black plastic trim on my bumper.

Anyway to clean this? Side note: any experience with black trim dye?

I get why people on CP like wagons but I hate to break it to you Silver, it isn’t just “chicks” that would prefer a crossover.

I don’t know anyone that likes wagons, outside of CP, including myself. They’re hideous. Ugliest cars on the road imo. No amount of usefulness makes up for that. And I think in general wagons are viewed as uncool. Less cool than minivans for sure.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not buying a crossover anytime soon but I totally get why wagons aren’t popular in NA.

Not a single car person thinks that. A wagon can offer utility, performance, handling, comfort and style. They rule. It's important to note that car people like them - these are people that read, research, drive and compare every vehicle ever.

Sport cutes are painfully boring and senseless. I don't know anybody that owns one that actually needs the ground clearance you get to the detriment of handling.

Yeah but that’s what I’m saying, except for a select group of “car people” who recognize the usefulness and advantages of a wagon, the general public don’t like them.

Well, you definitely seem to be right about that. The general public prefers lame vehicles. It's unfortunate.

Anything that our moms drive is the pinnacle of uncool, and right now, they all drive crossovers. Ergo...

Wagons to me are the cars of people with taste who don't need to shout. Go to any wealthy old-money neighborhood, and the cars you see most are E-Class or Volvo wagons, not crass Range Rover Evoques.

Obviously as a wagon owner I completely disagree with Cecil's terrible opinions about the aesthetics of wagons.

Leaving that aside, though, I don't think that Focus ST wagon is the ticket. The 2.3 Ecoboost just isn't enough. I'm not sure if their bigger engines would fit though... probably the 3.5L twin turbo would, though, right?
