I am hearing they were not remastered at all...that is disappointing
Not remastered like links awakening, there is a news post on the switch that shows game play. Sunshine and Galaxy look fine.
They did update all of them to HD 16x9 and did some work to them but left Mario 64 blocky.
I pre-ordered, 64 was probably my favourite Mario and I never played Galaxy. So $80 isn’t terrible and with Nintendo’s limited release Incan probably sell for 80 in July next year when Inam done.

I pre-ordered too...Links awakening was a remake, I was just hoping for HD textures I mean we can do that on our computers with mods.
Like you say though, you can sell it and probably make money or at least break even
Super disappointed they didn't include Galaxy 2, I might not get it or might wait and find someone who wants to sell just Galaxy.
I suspect Galaxy 2 will come after. Now that they have the process down it can’t be expensive. I bet once this is fine they split them up and sell for more and release Galaxy 2 as a stand alone title in late 2021.

Do new joycons have the same issues with drift? I know Nintendo has acknowledged the problem but have they done anything to prevent it from happening? I want to buy another set but for $100 I’d hope they’d be more reliable.
And Galaxy in HD/60fps is worth the asking price alone.
FYI if you have a decent PC, the Dolphin emulator is able to play most any Wii or Gamecube games at 4K/60fps. What I'm most interested in is seeing how Nintendo deals with removal of motion controls for the Galaxy games. It's possible to play them in Dolphin comfortably with an Xbox controller, but it takes a lot of fiddling with configs.

Have you contacted Nintendo about repairing them? They repaired two joycons and a pro controller for me free of charge. I just had to print a waybill for shipping.
