Garrett Whitlock now has 6 outs on 15 pitches. He is just destroying the Rays. What a pick up by the Sox in the Rule 5 draft from the Yankees of all teams.

Anyone else streaming on Sportsnet? Such a crappy platform. Always freezes, falls behind, or times out completely.

What a time for the Rays defense to crap out. Back to back innings with errors.

Well, Tampa f'd that one up themselves. The Boston team got hot at the right time but won't sustain it against an NL team.

Gross.

I think I'm going to put some money on the Sox. They have that destiny vibe going for them where they can do no wrong.

Argh not the way I was hoping to see the season end. Some positive notes wander was a playoff beast. Maybe he can teach Lowe how to hit any sort of ball in October.

Houston up 5-1 early in game 4. As expected it looks like we'll have the ALCS that nobody wanted.

You know we sit and toss out ideas on how to increase interest in baseball, and then we get an ALCS featuring two teams convicted of cheating not even three years ago...yeah lol. I think maybe that might have some to do with it, baseball is pretty much the king of cheater sports, tough sell to young people to come watch a crooked game.

The Astro's pulled McCullers because he was about to see the White Sox the third time through the order. It is now well established that the batters have increased success against a starter the third time through, yet I have to listen to the commentary team express disbelief when the Astro's go to Garcia. "I didn't see any sign of injury, or loss in velo, to explain why McCullers was pulled" How can they possibly not identify this?

And because it was never properly dealt with you get accusations being thrown around by players which further distracts from the game being played. Tepera outwardly in his press conference and then some Rays players beating around the bush about it.

It's sad because Manfred dug this hole but doesn't care because he'll still get his cash cows in the playoffs which draw eyeballs. The Sox-Yanks wildcard game drew 7.7 million viewers for ESPN. The most watched baseball game since the last time the Yanks played the Sox in the playoffs.

How about the career of Jesse Chavez. Still pitching in important games in the majors at 38.
