Nobody likes either sets of fans, only good thing about this matchup is one goes home tonight (probably the Yankees) and one will be finished by Sunday. So in the end we all win.

Seeing Cole give up bombs is satisfying.

And he's out of the game. 324 million dollars.

Cole's looked bad since the start. Last few starts actually. Confidence shot. Good decision to pull right now.

Yanks are gonna have to work hard this offseason to find a replacement for spider tack to make Cole's contract not a complete albatross.

There's a pretty funny clip online of Jerry Springer (behind home plate) not flinching at all when a foul ball gets fouled directly to him.

I still think the Yanks win this with a last few innings set of bombs. Boston doesn't have the pitching to hold this up, I think.

I mean the Yankees need to seriously adjust their plate approach to have any chance here. Swinging way too much, need to make Eovaldi actually work.

That's the general problem with them. Mostly go for the HR to equalize. It's their comfort zone. The Jays were the same in many ways against them. Swinging early and it just wasn't good because it was predictable.

I know Stroman has his detractors but I’m really enjoying his tweets tonight. Great commentary for the game

He also said he's open to coming back to the Jays. While I don't think the game has passed him by, he's not coming at a discount. Plus he burned bridges. He's not coming back. I think he's hoping one of these two teams pay up.

Maybe your lineup isn't as good as you thought when your pinch hitter is Odor.

I think this is a bad move. Boston doesn't have the relievers necessary in this situation. Should've kept in Nathan to get the big guys out as he's done it easily today. He was dealing. Guess we'll never know.

Yeah I really don't get the quick hook here, with an elite pen maybe, but this feels like overmanaging.

You gotta hold him there, if nothing else it creates a very high pressure situation on Brasier.

Yeah - poor decision by the third base coach. Gotta know your guy too - he was slowing down as he rounded 2nd. I know they're desperate, but he was out by a mile.
