After sleeping on it, I don't know that I want to watch Murder Tribes Murder Each Other anymore. At least the Murder Families Murder Each Other on Game of Thrones are families? And there is some sense that they might eventually focus on the larger problem? I gave up on there being any resolution or cure to the zombie outbreak sometime ago, so that's fine. But with that just being background noise and the occasional inconvenience now, what is the show left with? Just people butchering each other, from what I can tell.

Good episode.
Maybe I was really tired when I watched it, but when Rick climbed on the RV, I was sure the hatchet was on top of the RV, yet, later we see him running off looking for it.
What am I missing?

Ya, I didn't get that either. Possibly he imagined it up there?

phew I thought I imagined it.
I have no recollection of them showing him picking it up prior to getting on the roof.

Just read the reddit thread. Apparently Neagan threw it on the roof, not out into the grass. Then Rick grabbed it as he jumped to the hanging walker, and dropped it at that point. None of that was very obvious though. When I saw him jump on the walker, I was sure he left the axe behind.

I would like to see a replay of that scene as it didn't seem that he threw it on the roof.

He tossed it out the door after he killed a walker with it. Definitely didn't throw it on the roof.

I thought I could hear it land on the roof...
I knew it was on the roof because when he went out I said to myself "why aren't you going on the roof?!?!"

I stand corrected. The episode is on AMCs website. He leaned out and tossed it up.

Yeah I thought he threw it on the roof.
Rick was running around trying to get to the ladder on the back, he wasn't looking for the axe then. He climbed up onto the RV and then lost it when he made the jump to the hanging walker.

GoT "spoiler"? Even though it wasn't really a spoiler since it already happened in the show, but someone who isn't caught up could see it and be upset I suppose.

I deleted it. I didn't read it carefully (didn't want to spoil myself as I'm behind on GOT) but someone reported that it had spoilers in it for a different show.
I think it is reasonable that people coming into a thread like this not see spoilers about a different show, even if it has aired. If people are actively avoiding those spoilers, it would be shame that they find out something here.

Well that was unsettling. I just caught up on season 6 a week ago on Netflix so it was all pretty fresh in my mind still. This entire episode was definitely a psychological slog, and I had no idea they would go that far in portraying the violence. The scene with Glenn trying to speak after taking it in the noggin was extremely tough to watch, and it got a little emotional when they showed him sitting at the table near the end with his son (I think it was a son. Coral has shown us that haircuts are not a reasonable means of ascertaining gender in this universe).
I wonder what's going to happen with Daryl? Negan mentions that he "likes" Daryl, so I'm wondering if he's going to impose some level of psychological torment on him as well and attempt to convert him into a henchman of some sort. A heel turn (even if temporary) would be an interesting turn of events for the series at this stage. Or, perhaps they simply cage him up and give him the Jesse on Breaking Bad treatment. With this Negan bloke though, who can really say?
As a side note, it's cool that Trevor from GTA V is in the series now. That actor's Calgarian if I recall correctly.

I just realized Coral and Carol have opposite hair cuts, opposite genders and almost the same name(with obvious liberties taken). Mind blown.

I can certainly understand that, but an edit would probably have sufficed. I know the magnitude of 'spoiler' is subjective, but I considered it rather innocuous. It's reasonable, but how much should we really be walking on eggshells everywhere we go?
It's just disappointing to see a meaningful contribution disregarded over something easily fixable.
Carry on, loved the episode.

It's cool that Steven Ogg is getting more and more work. He also has a semi-regular role on HBO's new show Westworld (which everyone should be watching as it's amazing).
And yes, Ogg is from Calgary.

Just to interject, what you are saying is that he should have read through your post to make sure he saw and fully grasped the spoiler, thereby spoiling for him? On the flipside, if I had gone into the post have never watched GOT, I too would not have known what to edit.
Anyway, back to TWD.
