Also Williams and Schneiderlin look shadows of their former selves, Sigurdsson hasn't settled yet and Rooney is back on the bench. In general just not a very good side, IMO teams like Watford, West Brom and Burnley have looked much better so far this season.
I like McCarthy (poor mans Keane), so hopefully he returns and reignites them.

Or I suppose O’Neill, returns him injured again.

Where's the dabs per game stat? Clearly slanted to suit a Fellaini bias.

Mane is out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury. Perfect opportunity for Sturridge to step in and play well for about six weeks before his usual injury.

So Liverpool have one of the worst defenses in the league, and their best attacking player is out injured....and Mourinho still decides to park the bus. Okie dokie. Great save by De Gea to keep it level though.

United could easily be ahead, Lukaku missed a sitter.

Liverpool has 63% possession and does very little with it. De Gea is the best in the world.

it's a beautiful, sunny, warm Saturday afternoon. Why am I still watching the #### that United is serving up today?

No kidding what a garbage effort / looked like a beer league side trying to play in a Cup tie against a Premier League team. I know they have key injuries but what was that? Kitty bar the door with zip for offense and out worked all over the pitch. Of course they have the best goalie in the world so they get away with it.

We really miss Mane when he is out, he's the only real finisher in the side. Another game filled with wasted opportunities.

As long as De Bruyne and Silva stay healthy, City are basically unbeatable. What a duo.

Well Crystal Palace was fun to watch after United made me sick. What a first win that was.

Maybe Arsenal can get into the mix, but it certainly appears to be a three team race for the title. What Chelsea did to win the title last year was take virtually the maximum number of points off the clubs outside the other big 6 clubs, and obviously that's not going so well this year.

Haha, congratulations Chelsea! They cost me in my survivors pool, but it's still worth it.

Not the greatest showing by Spurs today, but 1-0 and a win at Wembley, so we'll take it.

Or Wenger might finally be done. Not right now obviously, but if they keep this up he finally has to be...right?

that has to be curtains for Koeman. Five minutes left and they are 1-0 down at Brighton.

almost 2-0, great save by Pickford.

Well there's the bailout for Koeman, for now anyway. But Everton have been shambolic this year, unacceptable for how much they spent this summer.

they bought 3 players

Sandro, Sigurddson, Rooney

who play behind the striker and who have no pace

they didnt buy a striker

not sure what was expected

I said it at the time, horrible decision to take the job, Koeman is already being mentioned in paper talk today for Arsenal job, in 6 months maybe for Barca job, if hes still at southampton

Put me as one of the people who mistakenly thought they'd be better than they are. Sandro was a bit of a reach, but I like Sigurdsson, Pickford and Rooney for what they are. I just thought they had a decent window and made some decent additions. Clearly they weren't keeping Lukaku, so they made a good deal to sell him and try to reinvest.

I am mostly surprised to see Watford where they are. I haven't watched much of them, so I don't know if they're really good or the wheels will fall off, but what a start!

Marco Silva is the new Poch. I don't think this good start is a fluke, he did a wonderful job at Hull too (despite going down) and seems to be a very talented manager. Probably not going to stay at Watford for long if this continues.

also an opportunity to once again post a clip that proves how clueless Paul Merson and Phil Thompson are.
