My wife has Okay'd me to go to Ottawa if the Bombers make the Grey Cup. So fingers crossed they beat Edmonton and I can freeze my arse off here in Calgary 2 weeks and see what happens. 1990 was too long ago.

To be clear that's not Dickenson calling the long bombs on 2nd and short. That's Mitchell. He has several reads on passing plays and these throws are by his choice. It's a part of his game that needs to be cleaned up as he's too greedy as there are times to go for those throws when you see single man coverage with no safety help but he's not the most accurate thrower of the ball so even if the receiver is open there's not a high probability of success. He should be more conservative and take the easy yards underneath and I don't know why he doesn't and why DD isn't in his ear more. There's a reason his completion percentage is terrible and hopefully he can reflect in the offseason and be more cognizant of ball possession over attempting big plays all the time.

Mitchell needs to go out and play and not count on his d bailing him out all the time. you are right, there are parts of his games that need to be cleaned up, and for gods sakes, run it when the first down is there.

Have people gotten their season ticket renewals for next season? I haven’t gotten mine yet and see that the tickets for 2018 are now on sale on the website.

One offensive guy, that says a lot.

Part of it is because by design the offense is suppossed to be so talent rich that nobody stands out.

The problem was that nobody stood out at all on offense this year.

I know injuries are not an excuse, but they likely explain why there were no standouts in the usual offensive positions for the Stamps this season. Bo is still banged up and both Jorden and Daniels missed considerable time. Although Messam cracked 1,000 yards rushing on the season, he really didn't have a standout year. That said, I still have confidence that DD can put together some plays that can lead the Stamps back to the Grey Cup game. Of course, a lot will be dictated by the weather conditions on November 19th.

The revolving door at the receiver position took it's toll and Mitchell having a down season compounded things. IMO the loss of Durant really hurt the team as he's by far the best CDN receiver on the team and looks to have potential to be the next great CDN receiver. The bright side going into next season is that we found out Michel is a baller and Begelton looks to have a fair bit of potential as well.

Flights are expensive as hell. Nothing like a group price gouge from Air Canada and Westjet. Glad I bought mine awhile ago.

the more i consider it, the only way i could consider it if it was winnipeg vs toronto. otherwise, if SSK or Ottawa is in tickets will be too expensive

I'd avoid that job at all costs.

I honestly don't think he's ready for that one yet. I live DeVone but he also seems to be really slow on adjustments to what offenses are doing and it takes him a series or two to catch up. Also that team is a shipwreck.

Als owner Bob Wetenhall certainly appears to get involved with player personnel decisions which only causes problems. Claybrooks has done a fine job with the Stamps defense, I for one would hate to lose him.

Also, I don't like the fact that this type of news comes out during Grey Cup week. The focus should be on the big game. Just to be clear, I'm not blaming Dunk for reporting it, this is more on Reed and the Als organization.

That alone would be a deal breaker for me. Claybrooks is a smart guy and a good coach -- he'll get a better offer soon.
