Lucky to basically win on a coin flip. At some point in time the Chiefs have to start going back to the QB sneak on short yardage, the knee cap thing was a freak injury and not an expected result. They have an emerging elite level interior 3 with Humphries, Thuney, and Trey Smith. Use that group on those 1 yard plays.
Mahomes still just looks a bit off with some of his throws. But Kelce and the Chargers lack of desire to tackle him saved the Chiefs tonight.
Still anytime they win without Chris Jones, I'll take it as a bonus. He's been the teams best player this year and you notice it when he's not there.
It's going to be a year where it feels like the team who can keep starting calibre players healthy is going to prevail at the end.
