As always it's good to beat a divisions rival. Coleman sure has been snakebit. That line has been playing well but he just can't catch a break around the net.

Not getting scored on is just as important as scoring goals from the bottom half of your forward group.
They have been fine in that regard and eventually will start to find the twine.
This is a pretty damn good hockey team, you should try and enjoy that fact.

Did I say they are playing bad? Did I say
I am not enjoying it?
I would say getting the third line contributing would be important when the top lines are struggling.
But I guess you know it all including how I feel so I should not comment now

Backlund did have a great game. I’m also noticing some nice passes from Monahan, often to defensemen trailing the play. Hopefully that results in something soon, no Suter or Macinnis back there to finish off those chances.
Seems like Coleman is fighting the puck right now. Not converting any chances and that botched clear at the end was ugly.
Markstrom really showed his with here too. Unlike other games, he was busier and was especially solid in the third.
