Tatis Jr. just swung at ball four and hit it over the fence for his second homer of the night and fourth homer in the last two days. Two each off of Kershaw and Bauer. Dude is locked in.
I think it's great that Bauer said in post game interview that he's all for guys doing bat flips and hotdogging. Game needs more of that stuff. Says pitchers don't need to be throwing at guys who show emotion. Couldn't agree more.

Anthopoulos is one terrible GM. Wasted $20 mil on Hamels last year, and $11 mil on Smyly this year while letting his bullpen fall apart. Horrific mismanagement.
Imagine if Anthopoulos had to actually build a team's roster and didn't inherit an insane young core of Acuņa, Freeman, Albies, Fried, etc. And lastly he's going to be to run out of town if he can't sign Freeman to an extension this year/ or in the offseason.

So, D-Backs play a doubleheader in Atlanta today and give up 1 hit total. Gallen with the 1-hit shutout and Baumgarner with the no-hitter! (which doesn't count)
Baumgarner's shutout improves his ERA to 6.57 LOL

He must have got absolutely shelled earlier in the season that a 7 inning shutout doesn't dent your ERA.

He was always overrated, really he made one great move in getting Donaldson, and did well to read the team properly to acquire Price but both the Reyes and Dickey deals completely drained the prospect system and held that team back from being able to do more.
