From a couple of smaller, lesser known bands:
Sunday monkey won't play piano song...play piano song
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright...Shamu's a mysterious whale

My wife always thought the Johnny Rivers song was Secret Asian Man, not Secret Agent Man.
We discovered this years ago and she still gets teased for it.

My Wife thought Band on the Run by Paul McCartney, was Man on the Run.
It too, was a couple years ago. Now when it's played, I always sing it incorrectly just for her.

Also Irene Cara - What a Feeling
Line is "take your passion"
A young zukes heard "take your pants down"
Even at that age I liked the idea of a woman telling me to take my pants down
Man, the 80's had some terrible music

The other day my 3 year old was asking me why the radio was saying Trumpets in my bed. It's supposed to be Trojans in my head.

I hear it as "revved up" like one... so I picture this maniac running around. I have no idea what the actual lyric is.

It's "revved up like a deuce" (as in a Hot Rod, like the Little Deuce Coupe).
Springsteen wrote the song and recorded the original, which has the lyric as "cut loose like a deuce", there's no mistaking the lyric in his version.

The version I know is "Thirty thieves and the Thunder Chief". In my opinion that would have actually been more badass than the original.

The first time I heard "Wrecking Ball"- Miley Cyrus.. - "All you ever did was.. R$%$ me" ... And then I looked up the lyrics because I thought that was overly aggressive, even for Miley Cyrus

yea i get this from modern country playing on the radio at work - they mispronounce so much anyways but lines like ' i want to be inside you' and 'she let herself go' make me look at the radio until i realise they have problems singing/talking.

Hah, until RIGHT NOW, I assumed that was the lyric. I thought it was a metaphor for a crappy gift....wow.
