Not sure why Leslie would have disagreed with either view that Francis gave. I think the same when it comes to those 2 players

Show me one example where Leslie has disagreed with Francis.

I watched it on SN. It was Leslie setting up Francis for his typical let's run the superstar out of town schtick. It absolutely did nothing to contradict what I said at all. Can't wait to see Leslie set up the same thing for running Tkachuk out of town in a year or two via Francis.

Can’t say I watch to many of their video podcasts. As for the intermission segments they do together it’s not his job to disagree. His job is to ask the questions and have the other two answer

Well of course you do. Between Francis and and a bunch of CP everyone is pushing Gaudreau out of town.

Don't like my opinion on it put me on ignore. It's ok for people to agree with it posting but not the other view? Ya, no.

It's simple logic. Nobody is pushing him put the door. People are doing the math and adding it all up and their answer is he won't be a flame. Your answer is he is FAF. Thats it, thats all.

News flash what ever garbage conversations that take place on CP has no bearing if Johnny gets traded or he chooses to go. We have no power and very little voice when it comes down to these things. Do you really think Johnny cares what 30-40 posters say on this site?
Also I can almost guarantee that when it comes to Tkachuk , Francis will be saying the flames need to keep him no matter the cost

Watched the Francis/Leslie video. Francis basically says Rittich and Gaudreau are going nowhere this year but will both be gone in a year. Johnny could be moved at the trade deadline next year.

Life is too short to bicker about something Francis said.

Basically the same angle Francis has been pushing for years on Johnny. Rittich isn’t really a big shock, he wants to be a starter and probably could get there but needs a net and with Markstrom in now it only makes sense he moves on. Theoretically anyone can be dealt at any time so until I see true and real smoke/fire around Gaudreau being traded I will gladly enjoy watching him play and hopefully begin to dominate again through the regular season. I want to see us go for it with this core before moving on towards another rebuild period.

The probability of Vancouver acquiring OEL AND keeping Markstrom were always low...would have been pretty obvious to everyone, including OEL and his agent...

I wonder if the Flames will pursue RFAs Bertuzzi or Mantha out of Detroit.
I would love another Bertuzzi on the Flames.

Both would be awesome but the price would be steep.

I think I saw that Martin is close to finalizing another deal with the Isles.

Eric D said trading is pretty much done. Don’t expect much more from us, which is disappointing for those of us who were looking for some change up front.
Probably have to run with a 22 man roster. The math doesn’t work for us to be able to have a 23 man roster (3.285 with 5 players to sign). Signing 5 guys at 700k puts us over.

Wait. Trading is "pretty much done"? Did it ever start?
