This is spot on, at time when the club has decided to go for it, they hire three AHL level coaches. Complete madness and I Am afraid BT has to hold his hand up and admit his mistake. Considering the money being spent on the players to then hang onto the current coaches because of costs is plain ineptitude. It’s the bullet, pay the money and get a good quality, experienced coach. It’s like buying a Lamborghini and putting budget tyres on it.

That's 2 really important home games, conference rivals at that, pissed away because of the diarrhea of a PP we have. We capitalize on one of those 5 on 3s with a goal in either game and it's a whole new situation. But we don't and it ends up in the back of our net very shortly.
Gotta wonder what Treliving is thinking. If the PP again fails to do anything of substance tonight, then I believe Cameron is gone and replaced by Gelinas on Monday. That's 19 attempts in a row without bearing fruit. He's getting rope because it caught fire towards the middle of last season, but it is costing this team points so it's burning up in a hurry. 5 on 5 we seem solid now, PK seems to be doing its thing, just the PP is still terrible at this point and no signs of improving.

This isn't even average.
Ever since Versteeg was hurt, the Flames' PP has clicked at 13.8%. That's good for 29th in the league, and it'll be 30th after they fail to score on their next chance.

How often does an assistant get fired mid-season? At least without the head coach also being fired.
