Apparently he fell asleep too.. yesterday and today.

His lawyers would probably prefer that to vocal outbursts or slamming the table or storming out. That's stuff he did in the trial with just the judge who could just ignore it.. but with a jury the judge will be far more strict about it.

Or maybe that's Trump's plan; to get ejected so he doesn't have to attend.

He’s a thug who’s bullied people and the system for his entire life. He knows no other way, and in terms of his re-election the worse he can say he was treated the better it is for his cult of followers. He’s gonna test it here though as I don’t think he’s ever faced something like this before. They will have a jury seated pretty quickly despite the prognostications and then it starts for real.

Off the top of my head...

1) He killed a lot of them with his anti-vax chatter. They were already old and probably not making great health choices. Ivermectin for the win!
2) Russia went to war so couldn't contribute as much this time.
3) Even Republican women don't like it when you take away their right to choose.
4) The economy for the high earners is going gangbusters right now, so there is probably less dissatisfaction with Biden amongst the wealthy.
5) There may be some actual "rule of law" GOP donors still around, who want to see if he's convicted first.
6) They invested in Truth Social. F-around and found out.

The media reporting every detail about them short of their name probably doesn't help.

Like, "has an Irish accent, works at a corporate law firm, lives in this city, answered questions this way"... it really does make it easy to figure out.

Even if there is one Trumpist at the law firm who notices Irish Jimmy is absent on that day, they can direct the mouthbreathers the rest of the way.

I wish the judicial system would take a harder line. Trump's violated the gag order daily. The media has zero interest in protecting identity. Have the orange bastard spend the night in the clink and ban the media from the courthouse.

Neither group can self regulate.
