I just think of the Browning logo when I see that one.

Also, I thought they wanted to keep the EE logo so they needed a name that started with an E. I assume they got rid of EE?

I thought the whole reason for choosing another nickname that started with 'E' was so they could keep using their current logo, helmets, and jerseys - so why shoehorn into Elks when you're going to change the whole kit anyway? I get there's a historical connection, but honestly.

Edit: Sorry, I see I basically repeated the previous post. Got distracted before submitting....

Infinitely better than REDBLACKS
The Red Blacks would be a much cooler name if was Rouge et Noir.

Alces Alces is called a "moose" in North American English, but an "elk" in British English.[4] The word "elk" in North American English refers to a completely different species of deer, Cervus canadensis, also called the wapiti. A mature male moose is called a bull, a mature female a cow, and an immature moose of either sex a calf.

The USFL is re-booting to become the latest effort to launch a spring football league.

Apparently the same team names will be used, although it’s unclear whether Doug Flutie and Jim Kelly will be suiting up.

Keon and his family are moving to Prince George, BC as he has taken a job as director of football operations.

Football in northern B.C. just got a massive boost.

The Prince George Kodiaks Football Club announced the hiring of two-time Grey Cup champion Keon Raymond as their new director of football operations on Friday. The team is a community owned football club that’s mission is to provide elite football opportunities for the U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 and U23 age groups.

Ugh - Looks like Trivel Pinto won't be playing football with the Stamps anytime soon as he and two other former UBC players have been arrested on allegations of sexual assault stemming back from 2018.

Three former UBC Thunderbirds football players have been charged with criminal offences in relation to an alleged sexual assault that happened three years ago in Vancouver.

Shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2018, University RCMP received a 911 call from a woman who reported she had been sexually assaulted by three men at a residence on Acadia Road.

University Mounties launched an investigation and sought assistance from the B.C. RCMP major crime section.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved charges against three men allegedly involved in the assault.

Treymont Levy, 26, Trivel Pinto, 25, and Ben Cummings, 24, have each been charged with one count of sexual assault, according to an RCMP news release.

Police said Levy has also been charged with one count of voyeurism in addition to the sexual assault charge.

The three men are in police custody. They are expected to appear in provincial court in Richmond at a later date.

Sounds like a guy tailor made for the CFL (on the smaller side, but quick) - Might be another great find by Huff.

In 49 career games with the Bearcats, White accumulated 247 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions including one pick-six, four forced fumbles and nine passes defended.

The 22-year-old Cincinnati native ran a 4.58 forty-yard time at his pro day in March. He also produced a 4.35 shuttle, 7.21 three-cone, 35-inch vertical, 10-foot-five-inch broad jump, and reppped 225 pounds 22 times.

Where did you learn that? is it specific to CFL with their larger stadiums?
I ask as I have Cavalry season tickets.

Argos and Lions games will look sold out if they get their regular crowds show up to the 35% capacity.
