That was a penalty, there was a clear blow to the head with the helmet to the face mask.
As much as Barker was crying that it shouldn't be a penalty, the helmet hits the facemask and Reilly's head snaps back.
But I knew that it was in Saskatchwan and there's no way that the darlings of the CFL were going to get called.
At the end of the day, the Riders have no offense a horrible offensive line and Collaros is an underwhelming Quarterback. The lucky thing for them is that they are the best of a bad bunch of teams.
Right now there is really only one good team in the CFL and that's the Stamps who can beat you on all three sides of the ball.
The other 8 teams are pretty much stinking hot garbage.
Oh and it I was coaching Willie Jefferson, I would tell him the next time he pulls that crap, he's sitting on the bench, that's just a selfish player being selfish, and his taunting penalty could have been costly.

Jefferson play was smart. Unlike last time which was pure showboating, he killed valuable time off the clock.

Nope it was a penalty, the command center once again got it wrong.
As soon as there is helmet to face mask contact that's a penalty.
As an add on the fact that the CFL is clearly not taking hits to the head seriously is why grass roots football is dying out. We've had multiple schools kill their junior programs this year and pretty much all of the bantam teams had player shortages this year, why, because the CFL which should be leading the way in cleaning up the game, can't be bothered.
Jefferson didn't play it smart, he picked up a taunting penalty, Which pushes the kickoff back. Don't sit there and tell me a guy that has pulled that BS off twice now is thinking about the clock.
He wants to taunt and showboat.
The shame is he's extremely talented and he doesn't need to pull off garbage like that.
