Hilarious that a game after he hits the 400 point milestone he hits another one... his first ever NHL fight!
Not only that, he initiated it. Stripped Nugent-Hopkins bucket like a pro.
Then scores the shootout winner to boot.
I like Sean Monahan!

His only mistake in that fight was losing his grip on RNH's sweater which gave him time to regroup.
I agree, Meanahan is cool.

I would love to be a fly on the wall next time McGrattan and Monahan chat. You have to believe McGrattan will be giving him the gears.

I was just about to post this. I hope Brian would give Sean a lesson on how not to lose the grip on opponent's sweater.

Monahan is getting better and better and adding new dimensions to his game. It's been awesome to watch him as a Flame and I hope I get to follow him here for 15 more years

Someone should ask Nuge how honoured he feels to have had the highest-scoring mitts from the Class of 2013 smoking him in the head.

Selectively bumping THIS thread. He’s never complained, & tried to battle his way back to form. Despite his injuries, and productivity drop. He’s a warrior, and I appreciate him.

One of the best to do it for the Flames and a top performer of the 2010's.
10th all time points: 462
7th all time goals (beats Gaudreau by 2): 212
5th all time PPG : 66
3rd all time GWG : 47
Ties 1st all time overtime goals: 11
Only behind Mackinnon and Barkov for the most points in the 2013 Draft Class as well. Like this guy was very consistent before his injuries. He deserves his spots on the all time list, and I hope he doubles it all in the back half of his career. Go Mony Go.

What a great player for us. When he started, it was the first ray of light after such a decline. Best of luck to him. Really hope health turns around for him and Montreal ends up being a great place.
