Honestly though Byron Bader's NHL Prospect models are quite fantastic, and gives you a pretty good idea of how a prospect is trending.

it's likely that not all these prospects will make it but it's nice to see multiple irons in the fire

I was just excited he was the next incarnation of Jamie Lundmark (the savior).

I would guess that in the model there is more uncertainty in the draft year (having less information and many future paths), but as time goes on it becomes clear which path the player is taking. You'd need to know more about how variance and uncertainty is built into the models to be sure.

So the closest comparables range from journeymen who never played a full season to a regular top six player to a 1000GP, 1000 Point player who will likely get HHOF consideration because of it.
Really covering their bases

My guess ... failure to take another step would reduce star potential, holding where you are and not going backwards would increase NHL potential.

Kerins was third star in that game with 3 assists (2 of them primary). He's tied with Petrov (EDM,2021) for second in OHL scoring with 24gp/13g/29a/42pts.

Kerins D+2 year (2021-22): 24gp/13g/29a/42pts
Krebs D+2 year (2020-21): 24gp/13g/30a/43pts
Both are 5'11" centers. Krebs was "the annointed one" for Buffalo in the Eichel trade. Just thought it was kinda interesting.

Buffalo was willing to give us Eichel but Treliving didn't want to give up Kerins.

Maybe he won't sign with the Flames. Should we start getting worried?

What? He's a CHL prospect? Why wouldn't he?

Kerins was first star with both the game-winning, and insurance goal, plus an assist. 29gp/18g/33a/51pts,+4, 10 PIM. He is currently in 4th in the OHL scoring race.
