Fans in the Stands Prediction Thread
I haven't heard anything from the Flames regarding tickets for this year - but my guess is they'll make them available IF feasible at some point
IF/When does everyone think we'll get fans back in the Dome?
1st Half ( Jan/Feb/ early March)
2nd Half (March/April/early May)
Playoffs fingers crossed (May/June)
Next year
My bet is playoffs - not to assume we'll be in them
I'd love to add a poll - but for the life of me cannot figure out how

I don't think it'll be until 2021-22, honestly.

I think there will be fans by the playoffs - maybe not full, but some

I hope the flames find a way to make some community service type events happen this season. While I understand the complexities of bringing back staff and all that, small scale events might be a manageable challenge. I'm thinking along the lines of social support groups, underprivileged kids, pandemic heroes, kidsport etc.
Could maybe use some of that 50/50 revenue to make it happen?

Playoffs at the earliest for any team in Canada.
If that happens, it will be limited capacity. Hopefully, a return to normal in the fall when everyone is safely vaccinated.

There’s a small chance for playoffs.
Virtually zero chance before that.
Next season is likely.

I can't see any fans until next season. Are we going to have to show proof of being vaccinated to be allowed entry?

Melnyk already deleted his tweet from this morning. Probably not a good time to post it when Ontario is in the middle of announcing a new stay-at-home order.

Considering rapid testing is non existent in Canada, I say start of next season. October 2021. Now, in places like Florida and whatnot, I’ll guess May 2021.

It seemed a little tone-deaf, but arguably par for the course for Melnyk.

Florida and maybe Ottawa will have fans this season. Late spring at the earliest.

Florida opening up season with 5000 in attendance, 25% capacity.

Times are so backwards that the Florida Panthers will have spectator bragging rights over the rest of the league.
