True, I feel for JJ, but not at all for Kane. He is a moron, period. I was just responding to the idea he declares bankruptcy and just starts earning again.

In this day and age where pro athletes are drilled about being responsible with handling their money, and the people all around them, this SOB manages to mess it up? That's completely on him and I hold no sympathy. In the late 90's and early 2000's, athletes just began to make a crazy living, and without guidance what they did was to some degree excusable. This nowadays isn't. That combined with his arrogance makes me actually laugh at his misfortune given the irony. Really dumb on his part.

Did I say something wrong? I was only saying that as I saw he had 35 million left on his contract, if he plays that long. It's a horrendous spot to be in, but with the right person actually managing his finances, I figured there might still be a shot to get out of the mess.

After escrow, agent fees, taxes, etc there wouldn't be enough left over to pay that much debt.
