Team inconsistant strikes again. Pummels the Wild then loses the next two. Couturier has been a complete dissapointment so far, off to line two with him I guess.

The only guy that's been putting up offense consistantly is Sam Reinhart.

Sad that we couldn't get 2 points against a Canucks team that we outshot and outdrew at face off dot.

No injuries and Backstrom gets his first point as a Capital. Mcdermid played his first game after being claimed on waivers a month ago and was injured.

Has everyone met Jake Allan? He's Eric Haula's best friend, and let in 3 goals on 13 shots for the loss. He's now demanding a trade to Nashville to be the fourth goalie and spiritual advisor.

Happy to go into the break on a 4 game winning streak. Our best player, Malkin, hasn't even suited up yet. Hopefully his arrival in another week or so doesn't mess up the chemistry in Buffalo.

Pastrnak with another 4 point night by the way. Oddly, the league gives all 3 stars to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Why not?

I almost thought about it... with the Canes D and still in the top 3 for shots against. Goal scoring is the problem and what I have been addressing
