Cut Loui so needed a back-up. I actually like Farinacci a lot. I think he could be a player. But I think this is a reasonable price for an adequate back-up.

The Kings have shipped off Ryan Miller to the Ducks, plus his bulky salary of 500K
for
an exchange of a 3rd round pick from the Ducks for a 4th round, both in 2022
and
Penguins prospect Cam Lee, who will be the top pair defender on their AHL club next year, in his first pro year out of the NCAA.
I needed to diversify my defense on the AHL team, and Lee has a lot of upside (if he reaches it). The Ducks get a free backup for the season.

Its weird, I haven't pulled a trade or talked trade on about 2 weeks, and I look at the free agents (I was looking forward to it) and I'm like not seeing what I like.
I think I'm well into the whole, can we start the season tomorrow mode because I want to see how my team does.
