Umm so there’s rumours Kit Harrington is joining the MCU...and people think it’s to play Wolverine.

He would not be my first choice. He seems too, I don’t know, soft spoken? We’ll see how it plays out.

The Eternals has my intrigued. Pretty cool cast, its a comic book arc i am not overly familiar with either and don't plan to read before the movie just for that reason.

Is it just me or does “Phase 4” Marvel look like it’s going to suck?

Nobody cares about 4th tier heroes. Hell I was burnt out even recently on tier 1 heroes unless it’s like Avengers. I think things are over saturated to say the least.

The Phase 4 movies are a mixed bag, but I'm optimistic for them. The TV series are definitely oversaturated. I will pick and choose a lot more carefully with regards to the Disney+ offerings.

If there’s anything anyone should’ve learned from the MCU by now, it’s that Marvel can make a hit out of any of their characters, regardless of how popular they were pre-MCU.

Hopefully they've learned from the Netflix Marvel shows and keep them under 10 episodes long. 8 seems like the perfect number. Less filler.

Not being interested in one of the upcoming movies and disputing whether or not said upcoming movie will be a hit isn't the same thing. I'm sure all of the Phase 4 movies will be successful financially -- but I'm not sure I'm eager to see The Eternals, or Shang-Chi. Which isn't a drag on anyone who is eager and excited about these films, or suggesting because they don't interest me personally that they will be box office bombs and commercial failures.

None of the announced Phase 4 films really interest me that much. At this point, I don't see myself going to see any of them in theatre except possibly Thor, and that's because Waititi is writing and directing again.

I'll see if my opinion changes as the time gets closer.

I think it’s also worth remembering that eventually things are going to turn downwards for the Marvel run. You can’t pump out the same thing over and over again forever, eventually you run out of material people are interested in.

It’s not if, it’s when, and I could see this being the start of that, but I also don’t see anything that could draw away audience attention, so who knows.
