Mini fridge and wifi router and I'm set. The console wars thing is as played out as cell phone wars. Get what you like and be happy or like me get a multiple ones to ensure you get to play all the good games as at the end of the day it's all about the games.

Wifi router until mini fridge releases some exclusives you can't get on PC. I'm not getting burned again since I maybe bought 3 games for my Xbox One and only ended up using it for EA Access(which Sony now offers) and Xbox Game Pass whenever there was a $1 deal which I find I play more of the PC games.
I'm a toaster only guy. Only so much time, and I enjoy Nintendo exclusives to much.
Same here. I pretty much only bought exclusives on ps4 and xb1 but now that Xbox games are playable on PC as well I’m not interested in buying another console.
I didn't buy a PS4 or Xbox One, I went through this generation with a PC and a Switch. I think I'm going to do the same this generation since the only game I miss is NHL, and EA hasn't done much with the series IMO
Microsoft makes it's easy to stick with just a PC since their exclusives are available to us, there's no reason to ever buy an Xbox
Maybe once prices are reasonable and there's a solid catalogue of games I'll pick up a PS5
PS5 will be the easy winner next generation from the looks of it. I think the Xbox Series X will do better than the Xbox One, but no way they sell more consoles.
- Wifi can always be "borrowed" from a neighbor
- That's just a toaster, not an oven, so no mini pizzas
- A mini fridge can hold beer
I think the choice is pretty clear
- I'd rather control my own WiFi
- Toasters are great but I need to do two to four slices at a time, that one looks to do only one.
- a mini fridge can't hold as much beer as a regular fridge.
Wow, the PS5 is enormous. Guess I'll wait for the inevitable slim version?
Yep, that's clearly set up for a slim version, again. I get that there's a lot of video game buyers that will upgrade to the slim version with expanded hard drive every time, but still the "Here's the nicer one with proper storage" song and dance is so annoying when you're dropping $500 on a system.
I didn't get a PS4 until my brother bought a PS4 Pro and I bought his old console. I'm not in any rush to get a PS5.
Yeah I'm kinda in the same place. Have a PS4 and Switch, and neither of them have been turned on in a month. I used too live for this ####, don't know what happened.
I waited for the PlayStation about 2 years. I was going to be a Nintendo fan boy and not going to bother with PlayStation. I'm not sure what got me to change my mind but I was glad I did. It was somewhat of a split second decision. One day I decided I was going to buy one and went out and bought it on my next day off.
I bought the PS2 on release day. I had connections and was able to buy it out from somebody who legitimately won a draw to buy (that person ticked off the store manager when entering the draw so he let me buy it instead of telling that person their name was drawn).
I bought a PS3 in 2012, a full 6 years after release date and only one year before PS4!
I bought the PS4 in 2016. This time only 3 years after release!
I doubt I'll get PS5 upon its release but my boys are excited for it and if they want to pitch in we may wind up getting it much quicker than the previous two consoles. Maybe we'll wait until Christmas 2021. Maybe the following summer. These consoles are so expensive these days.
