Default January 10, just two games.

It is the Wednesday Night rivalry games and both of them are genuine division rivals.

Exactly. I was looking at the game, wondering whom to cheer for... maybe Chicago as I hate Minnie more. But standing-wise, as long as it's not 3 points, that's the best result.

Chicago since we have two games to still play against them, chances to make up ground as opposed to the Wild.

I choose to cheer for the Hawks, if only because I can respect how they play. The Wild might not be the same team we remember from the Jacques Lemaire days, but that team still puts me to sleep and I would have no interest in watching them in the playoffs.

Minny in regulation. If they win, they’ll leap frog us and Chicago for the last WC spot. But we’ll have 2 games in hand, so 2 games to overtake them. If Chicago wins, they’ll be 2 points up and we’ll only have 1 game in hand. However they own the tie breaker so we can’t leap them even if we win that one game. I’d prefer to be in a playoff spot tomorrow if we win, the only way that happens is with a Minnesota W tonight.

But then they beat Vancouver a bunch of times and probably kept the Canucks from being regular Stanley Cup threat back in their heyday, so I can forgive the Hawks for that.

If, say, Chicago were to win in regulation but Kane got injured somehow, I'd make sympathetic "aw-too-bad" sounds but be secretly delighted.

I'm cheering for the Wild. Sure a win will have them pass the Flames however Calgary can then pass then again by winning one of their games in Florida.

Really just hoping for no OT. Pretty please hockey gods.

MOD EDIT: Please do not wish for injuries against players. Not cool.

Nah, I think it's slightly better for the Flames playoff chance, if the Hawks win in regulation.

Seems like the Wild had zero O-zone time in the first

The Senators lead 2-0 late in the second period. It is Anderson vs. Andersen in net. GO Senators.

Bergman scores late in the second period to get the stinking Leafs on the board, 2-1 Senators after forty minutes.

I just hope his replacement isn't Martin Marincin if that happens.
