Would've loved to have Mony there, but hard to argue with their forward choices considering each team needs at least one player represented.

When you realize that most of these guys dont want to be there the snubs become easier to accept.

Thought Monny would've made it.

He'll get a chance to rest up and recover from inevitable bumps and bruises that come with playing 42 games in the NHL as a 1C.
No need to raise his profile either. I like that he's quietly going about being a top C in the NHL, practically unnoticed.

So take out Neal and his 29 points and put in Monahan. Or Marchessault, who at least has 40 points.

I think Johnny will always be a lock.
He's one of the most exciting players in the game to watch and in that format he's even better with all the space to work with.

Now will they let him light his stick on fire?
You know, because he plays for the Flames.

Monahan deserves to be there but as mentioned with every team needing a player there it's tough to argue it. Monahan is clearly better than Rakell but what can you do?
The real tragedy is McDavid being captain. He's unbelievably overrated.

How is this Barkov's first appearance?! Always seems he's injured a fair amount in the 1st half which limits the statistical reasons to include him.
Also, Tampa with 4 players going and the coach. That's a lot, even if they are the best team in the league.

Gaudreau is first in the Pacific in points, McDavid is second, Kopitar and Boesser are third and fourth (Monahan is 6th). Rackell is 13th, but at least is a lone Duck representative. Neal is 21st in the Pacific. I don't see why he's there really.
Like even if they wanted to over-rep the Knights, Marchessault or Karlsson at forward make more sense. Neal is the fifth highest scoring forward on his own team.
The Knights have Fleury here as well.

It's only Crosby's 3rd appearance. Gaudreau with more appearances at the all star game than Doughty and Kopitar.

Neal over Mony is the travesty. 18G 29P in 41GP vs 20G 39P in 42GP.
Vegas already had MAF on the team, so Neal isn't a quota pick.

Those Vegas picks are terrible.
Marchessault deserves to be there way before Neal. How a forward 5th on his own team in scoring makes it is ridiculous.
Also Fleury has played 12 games, and shouldn't be there ahead of Gibson/Smith.

I know Bailey has all the points, but I do wish Barzal had made it in. So much fun to watch.
