This kind of seems to be Conroy's philosophy as well and I couldn't be more pleased.

This is the biggest reason why Florida is good now.
Bennett: mis-cast and under-utilized in Calgary.
Forsling: not recognized in Chicago, was put on waivers.
Verhaeghe: burgeoning talent, not given enough opportunity in Tampa Bay.
Montour: not played according to his skillset and thus never thrived in Buffalo.
I also think this is a big thing for team morale. When a GM goes out to get you and says "I believe in you" you are not only loyal to that franchise, you'll play your guts out for them. This is also how you create a good culture around your dressing room.
I think guys like Sharangovich and Kylington know that they have the trust of the head office here, and are thankful for that trust. It goes a long way to creating a good team.

I would like to take this moment to personally thank Spurs for not knowing when to quit and therefore making this an excellent and very satisfying day!

The poster constantly accused others of lying when their opinions differed from his own, he kept taking things off topic, and he has no idea what a fact is. He was trolling the board and he is gone, let's all move on and forget about the guy and stick to the topics.

I think CP tradition is to bump the original trade topic when there's been a swing in value in the transaction.

Florida has been really impressive in the way they have aquired players. They also stole Tkachuk and Reinhart in trades. Other than Barkov and Ekblad they've made some extremely savvy moves to build their core.

Thereby allowing ongoing discussion about a single player or subject simultaneously in two threads. Also a CP tradition.

True. I'm glad the trade has worked out in our favour. But we don't need to keep this at the top

I think Florida is very good at finding good players who just didn't fit the environment they were in. Sharangovich is a prime example of that for Calgary. I can't remember where I read it but Florida deliberately tried to find those types of players and said that they hit a home run when they acquired Sam Bennett. I hope the Conroy picked up on that, and has some more targets in mind like Sharangovich.
