Wolves-MU in the final because that is the logical end point to this season.

Thats fine, United have that in their back pocket, they can stump that up all on their own.

Inevitable.

Europe is pretty much shut down, no way to try to hold a tournament like that across multiple countries.

If UEFA is asking clubs for compensation, will this be the final straw that makes the big clubs to say F you and go form their own super league?

For £350K/week I'd be making him water the pitch at half-time.

On the one hand I cant begrudge a guy like Bale making his bank based on some bad boardroom decisions but on another hand...that must feel awkward as hell.

I'm not surprised that the original decision didn't stick, but no ban at all AND the fine being reduced is a huge slap in the face. Hoped they'd at least get one year, but given how smug Pep was last week, I should have seen it coming.

In any case, that's a huge blow for UEFA. Might as well scrap FFP altogether now, it's dead in the water and not worth the paper it was written on, given that UEFA can't enforce their own rules. Clubs like PSG and Chelsea will love this too, it basically gives them freedom to do what they want. Money talks.

And Zidane cut him, right after winning the Liga.

Bale would’ve been a great late sub to own Mendy down the wing in their second leg though.

lol, no he wouldn't, Bale's attitude extends to the field too. He's been very poor. Talks so much trash about wanting to be the man, gets handed the chance and was just brutal. The team isn't missing current Bale, it's missing a Bale that no longer exists.

And Bale also requested it.

What a welcome back, inside 15 minutes and we get a debacle of an error from Varane to put Madrid further back, and Lyon score on a penalty to put Juve in a big hole.
