I suspect this signing is in response to the fact that Luca and Escalante are not coming for the tournament. Shermanator, any confirmations?

Yup, Escalante and Luca are not in the country and thus won't be able to play in Canada this year. I have heard Escalante is signed for 2021, and Cavalry are looking to loan him out for 2020, but not sure how true that is.

Not expecting much from this signing, but given the fact that all clubs are having to sign players who are already in the country, there are a lot worse signings we could be making. It's not like we signed Mo Babouli or Tomasz Skublak.

I suspect you’re right, though I can also see Oliver Minatel and Jose Hernandez slotting into that Left mid/wing slot as well.

Cordova will likely be the consensus starting striker and Haber being either a super sub or played as a target man ahead of Brown or Cordova.

I hope there’s a couple more signings coming though, RWB in particular seems really thin.

Yes, they did. However, they are the "buff style" masks that are quite tight. Mine also had some loose threads when it arrived. It's the first thing I've ordered from the Cavs that I am not really happy with the quality IMO.

OneSoccer has gotten back to me. The free subscription code that came with our season tickets expire on August 10. But they are good for 2021. As in already redeemed codes are good for 2021.

Seems decent enough for me.

Sure you can...for another $165. Honestly, some of what the league has done here just bothers me. A lot of us have supported them since day one. We’ve bought apparel, tickets, food and drinks at the matches and the whole shot. The communication was horribly mismanaged and now to see the stop gap measure they threw together it costs more money? Pretty embarrassing.

I called Cavalry. STHs who have already redeemed their 2020 One Soccer code can sign up for the Collective at the $99 add on rate. I have been told there will be no interruption in One Soccer service. I hope that's actually the case.

Question: How much exactly were the parking passes for the 2020 season?

So I did the collective thing a few days ago. Web site was glitching, so I just called in and it was way easier. After that it was all smooth sailing. They send you an email with your voucher codes all included, and they all worked nicely to redeem the shirts and OneSoccer.

I was going to get a "proper red" jersey and OneSoccer this season anyway, so it worked out well for me. Also added my brother-in-law on as an add-on so he got a jersey for $99 as well. The club also gives you a $25 voucher, and last year's away shirt was on clearance for $60, so... couldn't say no for $35. The green shirt is nice. I think I'm good for now. Special acknowledgement to Howie_16 for couriering everything to the far away Tuscan highlands in the NW.

So when is this schedule coming out? I need to plan my month. I'm guessing that the games will be early-ish with the 3-hour time difference, but hopefully they try and favour the later times when Western teams are involved. But if they play at 9am I'll still watch and be thankful that we are getting anything this season.

I called in Friday afternoon and got the $99 collective option. Cavalry FO said that my 2020 OneSoccer redeemed code is still good, and OneSoccer said the opposite, so I guess I will see what happens Tuesday.

Schedule is out tomorrow as the league was waiting to see if they could get more games on cable TV. Hoping that with the 3 hour time difference most games will be on weekends, but I imagine I'll be watching at least a few games after the fact.
