Default Great Movie Double Bills

I thought this could be a fun thread since we're always looking for a couple movies to watch on a Saturday night.

What are you favourite "double bill" movies? Movies that work together but aren't related to each other. So no sequels, remakes, etc.

Here are a couple to get started. I added a third to make it a triple feature.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Arrival

Triple Feature Bonus: Contact

Face/Off and Con Air

Triple Feature Bonus: The Rock

Neat idea for a thread.

Any two Kevin Smith movies.

Hoodlum and American Gangster.

Thirteenth Floor and The Matrix.

Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven.

Sneakers and Spy Game.

Soldier with Kurt Russell and Blade runner, because it just felt like they were in the same universe, and Russell was great as the stoic soldier who had next to no lines in the movie.

I could be mistaken but wasn’t soldier supposed to be a pseudo sequel to Blade Runner?

It was an unoffical spin off sequel in a way, the theory came from the appearance of some references to blade runner as easter eggs. IE the spinner in the garbage pile.

For me it would be Tora Tora Tora and Midway. You watch Tora Tora Tora first and Midway second.
