As such, he is not Flames' property and could accept an NHL contract from any other team. It's unlikely, but it has happened before.
Either McKenna shouldn't be included or the other players on AHL-only contracts should be included.

AOM was excluded last year since any team could have signed him, and he was even an original Flames draft pick
Really doesn’t matter this deep into it though

I haven't really had time this summer to dig deep on our prospects.
Why has Foo dropped so low? Wasn't he primed to make the team last fall in the case of main roster injuries?

He signed in the KHL on a 2 year deal to play in the Olympics. Flames will retain his rights, but 38 points in 67 AHL games isn't going to cut it for a 25 year old. It was kind of a "now or never" type of season for Foo.
Crazier things have happened though so who knows.

To be a Devil's advocate, Francis did quickly correct that tweet.

Yeah lets get McKenna out of here now. I'd replace him with Rafikov but at least time for his removal

Guys it's round 25. McKenna isn't that big a deal.
He's certainly not about to be pillaged from the Flames system given his non ranking in this poll to date.

I'm going to let this go this morning and see if we see it get closer forcing a run off, or spread out so we can just call a winner.
Getting sick of run offs!

I'd say, based on the amount of people voting now and the quality of the prospects left, if it's within 2-3 votes at 9 am the next day, run off. If it's not, declare a winner and crank on to the next round.

Meh.. we are in the point of the off-season where nothing much happens and there isn't too much to talk about. I much prefer voting yet again on another run-off then end up getting caught in a pointless debate with someone who is constantly insisting that the grass is greener on other teams and that the Flames are doing everything wrong while constantly thinking he is either funny or smarter with his 1 word drive-bys.
Yes, please run-off every single time!
