Gurriel is staying hot with another HR.

Bichette had a monster day in Buffalo. 3 for 5, a double, 3 run HR and 5 RBIs.

Eric Sogard has a Marco Scutaro thing going on this year. Hard to say if he will continue on this way, but he might turn himself into an asset at the deadline.

Apparently the word out there is that if Bichette hits at AAA he will be called up late July or so.

No waiting until mid April next season.

Lol Mckinney walks it off with a 2 run shot in his 1st AB since being called back up.

I keep reading reports on Merryweather and how he's touching 100mph with his fastball and has elite control and spin. Don't want to get too excited but I am really looking forward to seeing what he brings. He makes his minor league debut on Monday.

Thornton continues to look like he'll be a serviceable mid-late rotation starter going forward.

And despite giving up the walk off dinger last night, I think Romano has looked really decent so far. He's got swing and miss stuff with a high 90's fastball and a wipe out slider. Hopefully he can work on his control. He reminds me of a RH version of Mayza. Great stuff and able to miss bats, but has control issues and tends to get rocked from time to time.

So I just found out Kloffenstein is pitching for the Canadians so I'll have to catch a couple games where he is starting. Small sample size but he already has 9 strike outs in 6.2 IP and a WHIP of 0.75.

Bichette is having another pretty good game in Buffalo, 2 for 3 with a double. Also the sort of forgotten TJ Zeuch made his AAA debut today, he is still pitching, 5 IP, 2H and 4K with 0 ER.

Oh and the Jays have come back from a 6-0 deficit to go up 7-6!

8-6! back to back bases loaded walks from the Red Sox.

Vlad with a great AB to draw the walk.

Seeing all the shots of depressed Red Soxs fans was funny.

Just to clarify he wasn't still in Toronto. He's meeting multiple teams this week and came back as this was Toronto's turn to present their offer.

Oh. Well that's not as exciting then. I hope he stays but for some reason I am not optimistic.

Gurriel Jr just threw a rope from left field to gun down Holt at home plate. Wow what a throw.

Now he has his 2nd hit of the game, he is on fire right now.

Randall Grichuck is modern baseball. He will barely touch a 220 average. His on base wii be 280 if he's lucky. He will slug for about a 415 percentage. Hit 30 plus home runs drive in less than 70 and score about 75 while strking out over 200 times. Everything that helps a team lose 110 games.

Guys like him used to be unique....now every bad team has one or two of them. He will get
50 million in the next 5 years because 145 times he will crush a ball and be extremely useless 2400 other times he comes to the plate.

We also have a less athletic version of Grichuk by the name of Rowdy Tellez.

Alford has been ripping it up for over a month now at AAA, and Bichette has been on a tear since coming back from injury.

These are the last two higher end position player prospects left in the upper minors as all the other higher end ones are down in A+ or A.

If the two of them keep it up we should be seeing them with the Jays soon. Looking forward to it.

Much more patient at the plate in those wins, good to see. Really like Biggio's approach
