The downfall for the Sens was having a 2 man advantage for over a minute in the 3rd period and not scoring. Dylan Demelo had 2 assists for the Sens.

The Sabres are looking good to start the season, the real deal Jack Eichel is playing well. The Knights out shot the Sabres 26-7 in the final 2 periods! Hutton was a stud in net. Okposo and Karlsson with 2 assists each for their respective teams.

The Islanders with a convincing home win. I thought Greiss would have been in net for the Isles as they played his former team. It was Lehner who gets the 35 save SHUTOUT. The Sharks controlled the 3rd period out shooting the Sabres 16-5 as Lehner stood his ground.

The Ducks are flying high as they win without Getzlaf, Eaves, Kase, and others. Anaheim is 3-0-0 to start the season, unfricken believable.
Almost any team in the NHL would be 3-0-0 if they had Gibson for the first 3 games.
He'll get cold eventually, but the Vezina is his to lose. I think he's the best goalie on the planet. If he gets injured, which he often does, I look forward to seeing the Ducks free-fall in the standings.

Yep, it isn't Miller time should Gibson be out for a while. Their farm team goalies don't have much NHL experience, Jared Coreau has played about 20 NHL games with the Red Wings.

Any team that loses there starter is most likely free falling in the standings.

Obviously, but most teams don't lose their starters.
For Anaheim it's a real possibility. Same goes for Chicago, Calgary, Montreal, Florida, Pittsburgh and Ottawa.

And there are teams that have such bad goaltending that it doesn't really matter. There are also teams with 1A/1B situations.

I hate the ducks. Even without most of their big names, they have not yet lost. They also didn't have Perry and Kesler.
