When Peluso signed, I always assumed he would be the 13 or 14 forward.
Personally I have no problem with recalling him, I would rather have that type of player around than having Lazar in the press box.
As for fighting its part of the game....
When a player gets hit like that a team mate will always stand up for him

They didn't call him up just to practice. Just because he's not playing tonight doesn't mean he won't play.
And who comes out when he comes in? Dube? Bennett? That's ugly.

Like Chief27 mentioned, Bennett's low-usage had mostly to do with how much time the Flames spent on the powerplay, combined with Bennett's new role on the PK this season. He and Jankowski looked really good there in the preseason, and I suspect that he will come to be appreciated for what he does here before too long.
In short, no. The team should not scratch one of its main penalty killers essentially for spending most of his time on the team bench in the last game.

Better a forward goon than a d-man goon ..... They could dress 7 D-men if they go with Prout as the designated bad boy

I wonder if Dube is going to sit because of his head, with Lazar in and Peluso in the box.

But you didn't honestly think that the Flames would go through an entire season and he would get no games at all? I think if the Flames play well, win tonight and manage to get some traction then it is likely that Peluso will stay in the pressbox for the time being.

Who says? A guy like Peluso makes more sense to scratch than most guys. They had an extra spot after denoting Lazar. They can scratch Peluso all the time if they want.

Then we'll see who's crying when they say the team gets pushed around too easy and is too soft. What do you want?

The Flames did not get "pushed around" on Wednesday. They were in control of that game pretty much from wire-to-wire. They sucked on the powerplay, and that is the reason they lost.

I don't remember saying they did. I'm thinking through the season. Who cares if Peluso eats popcorn.

I do not agree the Flames controlled that game from wire to wire.

Why even have a 14th. We have Hathaway already sitting in the press box.
