I'm just glad that play callers don't say, "Freddie" and "Dougie" like they do for the Sedins. That is the one thing that has made me hate them more than I reasonably should. It drives me BANANAS. There are plenty of last names with four syllables that they easily say, why make the Sedins so cutesy? /shudder

I have never understood the angst over this...

Do you expect the announcer to say "Sedin, over to Sedin, back to Sedin, he has Sedin in front, now moves it to Sedin, and he scores! Sedin!"

"Great pass by Sedin on the Sedin goal there"
