Apparently they bought an entire league so they could have Zach get on the best team or something and everything else that comes with it.

Obviously you have to be good enough to make the NHL and that not the sole reason he made it.

it reminds me of anson carter when he played for the canucks. he played on the sedin's line and got the most goals in one season in his career (33) and wanted a big pay raise. canucks said no and he ended up in columbus where the next season it was back to reality and he only got 10 goals.

He obviously has had every advantage and taken advantage of those opportunities (not every kid does). But his dad also help the league out of a debt / financial hardship situation was a bit more the reality if I remember correctly (could be misremembering though)
