Hey Canada O2 have you been watching a lot of the games? How has Jamieson looked? His stat line looks impressive for a first year defenceman in a competitive program

Oddly, he's been winning a lot of faceoffs (over 56% the last time I looked). That's never been a particularly strong point of his game, but it appears he's maybe worked on it.
I only saw him in the two games against Arizona, but he looked like a solid bottom six defensive forward in those games. Great forechecker.

I remember Conroy saying one of their scouts was really pushing that they draft him.

I think Jamieson is a solid, physical defensive defenseman. He plays on the 2nd pair, plays the PK, and gets the odd PP shift, but not much. He looks very good at defending the rush and is tough in front of the net. He has put up some points due to circumstance rather than creativity. A few assists have come from the defensive zone - breaking up a rush or chipping a puck out that transitions to a scoring chance the other way. Corey Sarich comes to mind when I watch him play

Reschny was 6 for 14 in the faceoff circle on Friday. I think it was his first game of the season going below 50%. He rebounded in Saturday's game going 11 for 17.

I appreciate that my dude, but don't give me too much credit lol. I'm just a guy who happens to be watching a lot of non-NHL hockey.

A couple of years ago, I felt like I was the only one posting updates in the NCAA prospects thread.
Now I just read the updates that the rest of you post.
