the very idea of hitler bearing a flame that embodies unity shakes me to my very core how dare you compare Jim to one of mankind’s Greasiest evils. I was there when he took hold of the torch and I can assure you all that it was not Hitler holding the our flame but a simple family man who just wanted to show his team Dreams really can come true.

Considering the kind of person Jimmy Playfair is, and what he has done for communities, youth, and the sacrifices he has made throughout his career is less then low.

He is an amazing family man and a guy who works extremely hard as a coach no matter what team he is coaching or in what capacity.

Comparing someone to Hitler is unconscionable. He is one of the best things to ever happen to the Flames. He is doing an awesome job in Abbotsford and guess what? They have a far better shot of making the playoffs then the Flames have.

Uh, folks I think you're missing the point... badly.

I'm simply explaining that the brainwashing that went on at the olympics encouraged everyone to cheer for anyone who held that flaming doobie.

I wasn't comparing Playfair to Hitler at all.

Anyone who came out to see the olympic torch bearers were fanatical over it. You'd think they were the second coming of Jesus. Thus, even if Hitler was carrying the torch, the people would cheer their heads off simply because it was a torch.

Fair enough, but one has to be careful with the comparisons one makes. I apologize for not seeing things the way you meant for them to be.
