So, so great. As a side note, why the F would any of the Bolton soldiers keep fighting for Ramsay after he indiscriminately fired arrows on his own fighters?
I'm not buying Sansa is 'evil' or 'sinister' - she's just an adult now living in Westeros. Her transformation from pampered Lord's daughter to potential queen has hardened her into what it takes to rule - no different than her mother.

Jon's dog is "Ghost" and Jon rose after being dead.
Arya's wolf was a lone wolf that was a fierce warrior as that's what Arya has become
Sansa's wrong was Lady and was killed, like the lady part of Sansa has died

Damn! Can't really add anything that hasn't been said but what an episode!
Finally seeing some major plot lines move along = great.
Ramsey getting what he deserves = satisfying
Something big has to happen in episode 10 (wildfire extravaganza in KL maybe?) to top this. I'm not sure they can ever top it.
Sucks to see the end of Wun Wun, but on a positive note I'm glad Tormund is still around. I thought he was a goner when he met up with Umber in the battle.
Well that episode should have satisfied the more basic fans that go into each week wanting (/expecting) to see some reenactment of Return of the King because apparently the show is supposed to be swords flying, armies clashing, and people getting burnt alive by dragons. You know, those people that say it's subpar whenever it's not that. Probably the most uncomplicated episode to follow in some time with plenty of little fan services. Fun, also predictable.

I'm not convinced that Sansa is a good guy anymore. She has withheld information from him all season. She said herself she knew Rickon would die, and she has no idea Bran is alive. She actually has the best claim to the North and seems to be playing the "Game" herself.
^This. Basically she wrote Rickon off before the battle even began and wrote off Jon when he refused to listen to her about needing more men. She did not even bother to tell Jon about her pact with the Vale and let Jon attack/lose half his army because of it.
She manipulated Jon to goto Winterfell by pulling on his heart strings and getting him to try and rescue Rickon in the first place fully knowing that Rickon would not survive. She has no idea whether Jon would survive either and did nothing to help his chances earlier on. Jon is fully expendable to her.
Very satisfied with how Ramsey died. The scene with Yara and Dany was awesome too. Really, though, there were no weak points. That was as good an episode as I've seen on TV. That battle scene was ridiculous, Jon's hero shot against the cavalry, then the half minute FPS shot with Jon, that was just amazing. Unreal.
