On the rare occasions when I need to haul something, that's what U-Haul is for. I may not be a Real Man™, but I do know how to make a phone call.
(Apparently some people have forgotten that phones do that, but that is a separate rant.)

Hahahahaha I love it, this gave me a good chortle! The phone hardly does what it claims to be anymore these days, it’s a marvel and madness all rolled into a sleek package that’s released like a car every year. I’m starting to realize what the grind my gears thread is for and it’s depressing! I’m still young dammit!
Bringing the thread back on topic, when is Bennett gonna live up to that draft pedigree?!

Yea I paid 2.60 for 91 all summer, and I want to say even higher at times but I’ve kinda just zoned out as the dollars pump away lol; it’s crazy anywhere in Canada though really (with BC being insane this year) and laughable when I hear Americans complain about having to pay 4 or 5 bucks a gallon when it gets ‘high’, oh harrumph!
Dammit… was it Jankowski living up to draft pedigree we were talking about?!

If ever you didn't know, the US gallon is smaller than the mesure we use (3.75 litres to 4.5 litres), if ever that makes you feel any better.

I should say that by ‘not that much cheaper’, I mean ‘not by enough to take the pain out of driving a truck like that’.

Seriously though it irks me to no end when a Truck isn’t used for what it was designed for, if you’re not hauling with it daily if not weekly I don’t see the practicality in owning and driving around in a beast like that. Plus gas on that thing would be devastating lol (though I live in Vancouver so I’m basing it on that)
|
That truck doesn't have that much towing capacity. You need to step up to 2500 to get something that can tow most RV trailers with slides that are over 25'.
Just because a truck looks big doesn't mean they can tow/carry what you think they can.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Did he pull a Burke and buy one that was too big to fit into his garage?

The only time anyone should ever say "nice truck" is if you need it to move large items... lol

Man they're sell8ng this guy high. I'm conflicted. Is he the prone to horrible mistakes guy Oanthers fans say he is or is he a Daryll Sutter away from being a superstar D man?
Either way, let's hope the Flames lock him up.
I feel like the last bit of roster tinkering Tree has left to do hinges on the Weegar extension.

He will likely have a career season under Sutter. It’s why the Flames should try to lock him up before the season. I expect his ask could go up by $1-2 million per season if they wait until the offseason.
