I imagine Ferland, Bennett and maybe Ortio go. LOL if the Canucks make Sven go.

I think he (Sven) has played too many games to be eligible. Ferland as well.

Is getting individual game tickets difficult at all to this tournament? I'm going to be in the area at that time, but don't really want to commit to the full 6-game package that goes on sale in July. Will I have any issues getting tickets for the Flames games when the individual tickets go on sale in August?

I imagine this tournament might see some more interest than usual with McDavid most likely playing in it.

Individual game tickets are easy to get.

Last year I strolled up to the box 20 mins before game time and ended up sitting right on the red line about 9 rows back.

I love this tournament.

We'll be going again this year. Hope to see Hunter Smith rock McDavid with a solid hit. I remember he had a huge hit last year, forgot who it was on.

If I recall correctly, the Oilers don't typically send their 1st overall picks to these tournaments.

Planning on going to this for my Stag trip.

Probably better off buying the group packages than trying to coordinate all the individual tickets, eh?

Wow! Just booked my hotel for the tournament. So many of the better hotels are already booked out. I was hoping to stay at the Ramada, casino or coast and they are all booked Out!

Yeah they let the entitlement seep in as soon as possible. a.k.a Sven Syndrom.

They are such a joke of a franchise. A player will never be great unless they have to earn it.

Ugh, was just going to ask this as I assumed lots of the hotels would be booked (mostly team related I'm sure)

If you dont mind me asking, what did you find and how much per night? Can PM if need be.

Cheers

Oh there's lots available, just not team hotels and or mod/high end left. To be honest I'm going to stay in kelowna for 2 nights then the sandman... only 150 a night. There's lots available still, just way more choice last year

Must be the McDavid factor, I bet we see a lot of oilers jerseys this year

There's an eligibility requirement?

Even if so, Ferland didn't play that many regular season games. Sven played in the 2013 series, after playing NHL 25 games. Ferland played 26 this year.

Or is it pro games, so counting Addie?

I think 25 NHL games is the most they can have, I'm not 100% sure though.

Now I've read (not from an authoritative source though) that 25 games is the cut off, so no Ferland. I also saw 100 pro games somewhere, and perhaps an age limit (which prevented Wolf from going last year).
