What I wouldn't give to hear my sons call my Dad "Papa" once again but he's long passed away. If I ever become a grandfather, I'll be thrilled to be called Papa with the same love that my sons had for their grandpa.

This just made me think of something, would you be more attractive with your significant others hair cut or would they be more attractive with yours?
I keep my hair pretty short, but no balding for me, however it would be a tough haircut for most women to pull off. I think I’d look better with hers than vice versa.

There's some really dedicated regular Cape Breton Eagle fans that made games 1 and 2 a ####ing blast here in Sydney. Dressed up in full ref gear, a couple of them got tossed in the 3rd period of game 1, and after the game one of the group was on the ice celebrating and got a huge ovation. And they played Rankin family after the wins, awesome stuff. Hoping for a deep run and enjoy some playoff Q hockey

Family back for the week. Wife decides to buy a Ruckus moped for the kid when he’s back for the summer. Just thought they were going to look (I wasn’t a fan of the idea). Now they all leave again for the next few months, what the fata do I do with a scooter that’s delivered next week.

You build a ramp and become the neighbourhood Evel Knievel. Then, something-something… tik tok stardom?!

WE just got our sons out of storage on the weekend. Best money I have spent for our kid was buying him a Rukus when he turned 14. Granted where we live is pretty much the perfect place for one. IF you drive by his high school there must be 50+ scooters parked in the parking lot.
Gives him some freedom and makes it so we don't have to drive him around as much. He can get himself to Gym, Baseball its great. This will be his 3rd and last summer with it as he turns 16 next week so will get his license in December and I should be able to sell it for not a whole lot less than I paid for it
We did have him do the motorcycle safety course when he got it.

Your shift starts at the top, and not the bottom. You must arrive 45 minutes early. We're not paying you to commute to work.

Wouldn't that have been an elevator, though? I assume that was used to move material and workers up. Or was it all stairs?

I was wrong. I did some digging and discovered it was an exterior elevator shaft. That said I'd like to know how that shaft was assembled.

Did anyone tell their elderly parents “you just told that story” just to screw with them?

I don’t know how excited I’d be to go riding up that either…
