Buddy made me impulse buy this game. Seems ok, only played against AI for an hour or two. Haven't played an fps in a long while so will take some getting used to again.
Who are you guys finding fun? I enjoyed the pudge (roadhog) and lucio the most vs ai, wonder if lucio would be as good vs humans though who might be better at coordinating burst (and therefore cutting through his healing pretty easily).
Roadhog is great if you're faster than everyone else and have a good hiding/snagging spot. The real advantage come with knowing where to camp on certain maps. He's not great on Attack unless you have a pocket-Mercy however.
Lucio is an excellent Attack helper if your team has good awareness.

Just gonna copy/paste my long post from the other thread:
I was having a blast with it last night too, but yes, the team makes a big difference. Lots of guys thinking it's team deathmatch, running around willy nilly with Reaper or Tracer. Eventually they'll get sick of losing and either stop playing or start working as a team.
I've taken to support characters, and really like Symmetra at the moment. She's not a highly used character, from what I can tell. Those little turrets she places can devastate people, especially is you can get all six down. One match I had 24 (!) sentry turret kills, just people running into the objective and getting blasted by 3 or 4 of them constantly. Had a quadruple kill in that match, but didn't get highlight of the match because of stupid Bastion and his tank mode getting a 5-kill streak. Plus, a well placed teleporter by an objective is just as good as having a solid healer, and she can buff teammates with shields.
I'll tank sometimes with Winston and Reinhardt as well, or heal with Mercy if my team is having trouble staying alive and the opposing team is wise to my Symmetra turret game.
I'm just not overly good at shooting games, so being able to take on these more alternative/support roles has been the real draw for me and will be what makes me play this for a long time.
If he gets the usual 4 or 5 kill streak in 15 seconds like usual, then yes, though I did notice more of the other chars getting it as well. Because of the Junkrat nerf I don't see as many 4-at-once Riptire kills though
My Sunday gaming group switched from TF2 to this, and I'm having a blast. I'm best with the traditional FPS type players so far, and can dominate at times with Pharah, Soldier 76, and Hanzo. Still pretty useless with Symetra and Roadhog though
Reinhardt with a healer is pretty decent for pushing a payload. This game is a lot more fun than I thought it would be, and makes me kind of wonder what Titan could have been.

So far I would say that Overwatch has filled a long vacant void that was once occupied by TF2. It's nice to play a class based, objective focused game where even some of my non-fps friends can hop in and do extremely well.
McCree is my jam and I just got a PoTG with him. 5 kill Deadeye. It was filthy.
As someone who poured over 600 hours into TF2, I wholeheartedly agree with the assessment that Overwatch is the spiritual successor to TF2. First time I've pre-ordered a game in a decade or more, all because of the beta.
Love Bastion - had a 14 player kill run with him, but I'm also liking Mei. And I can't use Widowmaker at all.. ugh.
Well I have 2k hours into TF2, haven't played much though in the last couple months though. So the only way to get it is not through steam and I need to create a battlenet account? Boo. Will that ever change?
25 player kill streak with Torbjorn!! Got set up at an elevated position at the choke point on Anubis and just wrecked shop. Didn't die once, didn't even have to rebuild the turret once either. Fun match
