Stockton is finishing up the back half of a home and home today in San Jose.

The Heat beat the Barracuda 5-2 last night and hope to win again today to solidify their playoff spot. As well, the Barracuda will likely be the 1st round opponent should the Heat make the post season. Kylington is out for today, maybe precaution, maybe injury, the Heat really don't disclose much on the injury front. I don't know if Stortini was suspended but if he isn't I hope he gets his teeth fed to him tonight.

The game starts in about 10 minutes.

Heat just drew a 4 minute pp for high sticking, but now there are about 8 Heat on the ice and the benches are pissed at each other. The SJ coach is down the bench and swinging at Heat players on the ice and Heat assistant coaches are coming over and being held back.

Madness. Love it.

The Heat need this game. San Jose doesn't. Heat with a penalty box parade and leaving Rittich to stand on his head. Huska needs to focus himself and his team on the task at hand.
