I remember liking Sproul back when he was drafted, but he seems to be one of those players that plateaued early and never really continued on his development.
It'll be interesting to see if he gets a contract. I think he'd be a great vet in Stockton.

I think you’re misremembering. They were never talked about in the same breath.

What did he do to deserve that? I almost could get an invite for this squad if I didn’t drink beer every day. And wasn’t 42. And could raise the puck with a slap shot (fluttering muffin doesn’t count).

I guess he looked too much like a second refrigerator in the middle of the kitchen.
(Thanks, Bob!)

Berezan & Macoun are a couple of ugly teams. No way I'd pay to watch them play in the preseason.
I would have left Hamonic & Hanifan (who already knows and is known by Pererson), Backlund, Frolik, and maybe Bennett and Jankowski behind. Give them top minutes in the games here, and guys like Ryan and Czarnak clear spots up in the lineup in China, never mind giving your home fans a reason to come out.

PTOs this year are just warm bodies while the majority of the team is in China.

Every time I see the name Brule, the first thing that comes to mind is Dr. Steve Brule

Why don’t we go down to the bay, we could eat some hay, make things out of clay, what do you say? I just may!

That would be ridiculous. The China trip is the trip of a lifetime for those guys.

Not in the sense that it was Taylor vs Tyler type dilemma but more along the lines of Ovenchkin and Malkin. He was the clear number 2 in the years leading up to the draft. The guy scored over a point per game playing in the bc j as a 15 year old.
