I wasn't joking, I wasn't making a joke. I just found it funny that you said it wasn't delayed, and then explained how it was.

I think I lost interest in this conversation about 12 posts ago, which is even more posts than the actual length of it.

I would think they would have to be unreal stupid to not do early upgrades. Especially with apple selling them at $649 and $749 unlocked direct from apple (these prices are only estimates from apple fanboy forums)

It costs about 400 or less to cancel your plan depending on what options and the contract you signed is. Rumor has it they will run at $199 and $299 on contract. Rogers will not want users to jump ship to other carriers just to get the phone at a discounted price.

The way I see it is they will not announce early upgrades till late August/early September and then they will allow all accounts over 1 year to upgrade to the iPhone with 3 year refresh commitments on data and voice. They have done this with the last 2 Iphones so it would only make sense they would continue the trend.

But to me buying one unlocked from apple makes the most sense as the resale will be higher as well as the bonus of not extending your contract with evil cellular companies.

So the iPhone 4.0 OS is being shipped today for us to load. Surprised there is no walk about that in here. I have a 3G so I won't be able to use all the features, but I will be loaded the OS as soon as I can.

Anyone else?

Most of us already have it.

Not a big deal on a 3g. Seems snappier than 3.1 but it seems to get itself bogged down after a days worth of use like 2 used to, forcing a restart.

FanIn80.. the next time someone says something about Apple that you think is an attack. Do not respond. Just let it go completely.

You're now at the point of taking things that aren't even attacks as being attacks and getting all flustered. It's not important. Let it be.

Huh? He was talking about me, not Apple.

Edit: It doesn't matter man, I honestly don't care. The drama is really starting to get pathetic.

For those that have iOS4 already, are there any issues with battery life on a 3GS?

I don't have 4.0 yet and am quite excited to load it. Playlist creation is big one for me. I've cursed the on-the-go playlist countless times. Also folders ... thank god for folders. My only concern is the amount of disdain I'll have for my iPad once I can't switch from app to app quickly.

Some blogs were even hosting the file themselves (bad dog!). Once it went out to all the developers it leaked pretty fast.

Well, if you will have disdain I will take it off your hands. That will make you feel better.
