Penguins score on a 5-on-3, but the Canucks another 5-on-3 lined up and the Pens scored again. At least they killed off the remaining 5-on-4. Now it's 3-1 Penguins as the second period ends.

3-2 Heat over the SD Gulls.

Gawdin with a pair, and Mackey with the Gordie Howe Hit Trick. Wolf with a strong game.

The Avs have the 2nd best winning percentage in the Central.

The Wild are legit. But the Avs will finish 1st or 2nd in the division.

As for the Knights, The Ducks are probably better than most people think, but I still think their young players fade down the stretch and the Knights finish 3rd, or maybe even 2nd

You’re probably right. I see a similar setup in the east where the team that finishes first could get rewarded with facing Pittsburgh or Boston in the first round. It’s early so all the standings have to potential to change a lot. I’m sure some of the teams with hot starts (especially younger teams) will fade as the season goes on.

It’s all kind of moot because the team that wins the cup will eventually have to face a few powerhouse teams.

Does this leave the Flames, Winnipeg, and Ottawa as the remaining teams to NOT throw a jersey on the ice?

I'm genuinely curious

With Oilers jersey tosses at least a month or two away it is nice to see the fans of other teams filling in the gaps.
