Back on topic, I still want an iPad, but I'm not shelling out top dollar for a new one, when the old one is still only a year later. I don't need an iPhone 4, when my 3GS does everything I need it to.

Haha, when I was still planning on getting one I thought about trying to go at ~3am, since I'm normally still up anyways and have friday off. I would've had to convince someone to hang out with, though. No way I could wait that long by myself.

I got an email from MyMacDealer in town saying that they'll have the iPad 2 available tomorrow (Friday) at 5:00pm.

I'll be ordering the iPad2 tomorrow. Going for the black with black cover, wi-fi + 3G, either 32 or 64gb. If I order on-line tomorrow how long before I get this thing delivered? Anyone know the likely delivery date?

It's already on sale in the New Zealand online store, and delays were in the 2-3 week range. I can't speak for what will happen here, but in the US the delay went from 24 hours to 3-4 weeks in just a few hours.
